In 1976, Joel Lusk began his construction journey with his father and brothers at Lusk Construction Inc. This family construction company built many beautiful buildings and, over time, was able to build wonderful and lasting relationships with customers and subcontractors alike.

As a teenager, Matt Lusk went on to join his father, Joel, in construction. After the downfall of the economy in 2008, Joel and his brothers made the decision to shut down Lusk Construction Inc. and start their own ventures. After this decision, Joel and Matt founded Brian Construction Group which was later changed to Lusk Construction Group.
